Earth Day at SIU at the Stone House featured an art auction of donated
bird houses, sculptures, and paintings to celebrate Earth Day. Shown here are a few at the live auction. My piece is shown in the background. It is a gourd birdhouse, collaged with earth images and stained. It has leather, dried plants, and a chalk board base to
encourage recycling and less paper usage.
